What is Arinar Reborn?
Our ambition is to build the first feature-complete Warspear private server: an independent reimplementation of the mechanics and systems players know from the original game.
Is the Arena ranked?
Elo is the competitive rating system. Progression rewards, Greatness unlocks and timed tours are planned; their implementation and balance are still in development.
Do I need to register on this website?
After using the patcher, create your Arinar Reborn account in the game client, then link your email and password. Use those credentials if you want to sign in to the player portal.
Can I still play on the original server?
The patcher makes it easy to choose where to play: the original Warspear server or Arinar Reborn.
Which platforms are planned?
Windows and Android are planned. We intend to distribute connection patches, not the original game client. Supported versions and verified instructions will accompany each patch release.
Are the player counts live?
The realm-status panel labels its source. Development preview numbers are sample data. When live status is connected, the panel shows activity at page load; refresh to check again.
How can I help with development?
This is a project to build with the community. Suggest ideas, find and document bugs, compare observed behavior, and help reimplement mechanics from the original game.
Can I practice when nobody else is online?
We plan to deploy a suite of machine-learning AI opponents on the server, aiming for Arena practice 24/7, even when no other players are online. These bots are a development goal, not an available feature yet.
Will there be quests and dungeons?
Mechanics and PvP come first, but the wider goal includes reimplementing quests and dungeons. Over time, we may recreate the full PvE experience, depending on community participation and the traction of the project.
Could I play an older version?
If the community and project growth support it, we may offer version-specific releases: revisit an earlier era or keep a realm at a chosen point in the game. This is a possibility to explore together, not a release commitment.
How will the game connect?
Our distribution policy is patch-only: we will not ship Warspear game assets or original game code. Players will need their own lawfully obtained client; our patch is intended to connect it to our independently implemented server.
Could this become open source?
We may eventually release the project as open source so anyone can run their own server and create their own classes, items, quests, NPCs, mobs, sprites and maps. A future release could also let creators change game code. The scope, licensing and timing are still to be decided; this is a possibility, not an announced release.
